Women have long been taught to undercharge, over give, and seek validation through external success. Self worth and under-pricing are the biggest challenges I’ve seen my female clients face when starting up a business. It’s a problem. I’ve seen too many women in business on the edge of burnout at a time when they should be harvesting the fruits of their labour.

But a quiet revolution is unfolding.

Women business owners are waking up to their true value—not just as entrepreneurs, but as vessels of healing, wisdom, and power. This transformation is nothing short of sacred. It is a passage from the "prostitute mindset"—where survival and self-sacrifice rule—into the embodiment of the archetype of the High Priestess, a woman who knows her worth, owns her gifts, and names her price with divine clarity.

One of the most profound tools to guide this transformation is numerology—specifically, the Life Path Number, which reveals your soul contract and your innate gift for service and prosperity.

The challenges of earning more money

I wrote this article specifically for us after discovering that only 33% of women business owners are generating more than $25k a year. 43% are generating less than $10k – Yeah – you read that right. (Data taken from American body, Biz2Credit’s Annual Women-Owned Business Study 2022.)

A shift needs to happen so that we’re all uplevelling to generating a minimum baseline income of £40k (the amount recommended in the UK, by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, for a single woman and that goes up to £69k for a woman with kids). That’s the starter income that’s needed to just open up some freedom of choice to move from scarcity to sovereignty.

Despite our growing presence in business, the income gap between male and female business owners continues to exist.

Factors include the challenge of balancing business with family responsibilities, e.g. we spend 2 to 3 times more hours than men providing care, (UK Government Equalities Office Research, 2021, The Sharing of Childcare and Wellbeing Outcomes). Trust me, I’ve worked with over 500 women business owners and those generating over £100k a year are working a minimum of 40 hours a week. Those generating more than £1million, anywhere between 50 to 70 hours. The business of owning the output of your mind, body and soul takes this kind of devotion. And that means better childcare provision and co-parenting that has to be non-negotiable.

Other factors include us having limited access to investment capital.

And we hugely undervalue our

goods and services.

And it’s this – UNDERVALUE – where ‘the scarcity or prostitute mindset’ keeps us small.

The key to unlocking more money, wealth and power

In this article I’m going to zone in on the need to value your business offering, increase your pricing and as a result having the power to make bolder choices.  

I’m going to play with two archetypes so this really lands in your mind, body and soul. I’m going to show you how to move from ‘the Prostitute Mindset’ to the ‘High Priestess’.

It’s time for you to honour your sacred service and charge accordingly.

And the key to generating more currency is found in the discovery of your Life Path Number.

Part 1: The Prostitute Mindset in Business

The term "prostitute mindset" is provocative. It doesn't refer to sex work, but to a psychological archetype first introduced by Caroline Myss—an energy pattern rooted in fear, survival and the need to sell yourself in exchange for love, security, or approval.

I debated about whether to use such a term – but hey a wake-up call is needed! The more money women generate the greater the social and economic impact at grassroots level. A study by the International Monetary Fund in 2014 found that women invest 90% of their income back into the family, health, education and the community, compared to 30% by men.

So, let’s shake up the narrative. We need to get so uncomfortable playing small that we rise up and say ‘Show me the money!’

So, here we go…..

In business, the prostitute mindset looks like:

• Undervaluing your services to “get clients”

• Overworking and undercharging

• Fear of visibility and speaking your truth

• People-pleasing and boundary-blurring

• Feeling guilt or shame around receiving money

At its core, it’s the belief:

“If I charge too much, no one will pay me.”

“If I take up too much space, I’ll be rejected.”

“I have to give more to be worthy.”

This mindset is common among women—from solopreneurs, creatives, healers and even high performing C-Suite executives who still question their worth. We feel called to serve but carry deep ancestral and societal conditioning around money, power, and worth.

But when you decide that you will no longer trade your soul for the security of a soul sucking job...

You become a High Priestess.
