Take the steps, this year, to shift from survival mindset to prosperous business ownership. Price from soul, not self-doubt.
It’s the difference between being ‘broke’ and ‘breakthrough’ success for women business owners.
I love that saying, ‘Do no harm, take no s***! But why are so many of us silently trading our power, time, or truth for approval, belonging, or safety? It’s a pattern that shows up in undercharging, overgiving, people-pleasing, and burnout.
In archetypal psychology, this is sometimes called the wounded worth or the prostitute mindset. It can keep even the most gifted women business owners trapped in survival mode.
But you weren’t born to survive.
You were born to lead from your soul and prosper.
It’s time to take soul-aligned action, year on year to flex your self worth muscle, build your business and strengthen your bottom-line.
And Numerology offers a powerful key to that transformation.
When you align with your Personal Year Number, you gain insight into the exact themes, lessons, and energies supporting you each year, so you can shift your mindset, pricing, and business practices from fear to sovereignty.
Why women, more than men often struggle with self-worth
Many of us find ourselves plateauing or struggling despite our talents. Here’s why:
1. Generational and societal conditioning
For centuries, women have been taught (explicitly or subtly) that our value is:
Tied to how well we serve others,
Measured by how “likeable” or “pleasing” we are,
Diminished if we are assertive, ambitious, or take up too much space.
This conditioning starts in childhood and is reinforced in schools, workplaces, media and even within families. Over time, many of us internalise the message: “My worth depends on how much I give, not on who I am.”
2. Social pressure to over-give
We are often expected and praised for putting others first: our children, partners, clients, communities. But constantly putting others’ needs before our own, without recognition that our own needs matter, chips away at self-worth over time.
In business, this can show up as:
Undercharging,
Over-delivering,
Avoiding boundaries,
Or burning out while trying to “prove” value.
3. Historic exclusion from wealth + power
We were historically denied the right to:
Own property. (Not until 1926, that women in the UK weregranted the same rights as men to hold and dispose of property.)
Control money. (Not until 1975, that women in the UK could open a bank account without permission from a male relative.)
Spend money in a pub, (Not until 1982 that women could enter a pub and spend their money without being refused service.)
Access education. (Not until 1920 that women could graduate from Oxford University.)
Vote. (Not until 1928 that women in the UK had equal voting rights to men)
The above changes have only happened in the past 100 years. Their legacy still shapes collective and personal beliefs. The result? Many of us still subconsciously question: “Am I really meant to have wealth, power, or authority?”
4. The double bind of ambition
When men are ambitious, assertive, or confident, they are typically rewarded or admired. When we show the same traits, we are more likely to be labelled as:
“Pushy”
“Bossy”
“Too much”
“Unlikeable”
This creates a no-win situation where we feel we must:
Strive for success, but not too visibly
Speak up, but not too strongly
Value ourselves, but not act as if we do
This constant tightrope can quietly erode self-worth.
5. Fewer role models of unapologetic female wealth and worth
Although this is changing (thankfully!), there are still few visible examples of women who:
Own their power
Celebrate their wealth
Model both success and self worth without apology or compromise
Without those examples, it’s harder for us to see that we can do the same.
How to give yourself a breakthrough and not a breakdown
We often enter business driven by passion, purpose, and the desire to make a meaningful impact. But low self worth is a hidden force that can either fuel our rise or quietly limit our potential.
Self-worth is the biggest obstacle for women getting their businesses off the ground. I know because I’ve seen it first hand working with over 500 women over 20 years. It can take years of personal development and reconditioning to recognise the value we bring to the table and to charge accordingly.
I’ve been determined to get to the root of this self-worth ‘problem’. I approached it completely wrong! I started with the assumption that it was something wrong with us, like a shame based secret. But it’s no surprise we question our worth when we’ve been undervalued, undermined and repressed for centuries.
Our self-worth challenges aren’t personal failings — they are the result of centuries of cultural patterns.
So instead of shamefully repressing our feeling of low self worth we need to welcome it as it arises. It is proof that we are at a threshold. It’s proof that we’re about to break down barriers that have held us back for eons. It’s a sign that we’re about to transmute energy into motion to break through internal and external ceilings.
We need to alchemise feelings of low self-worth into focused self-will.
Everytime the feeling of low self worth creeps in, for example, when it’s time to increase your prices, ask for the sale, launch your new product and service, knock on doors….
Welcome the feeling. It’s a noteworthy indication that YOU are about to lead the way and RISE UP, not only for you, but for the women that will follow in your wake. Healing and reclaiming self-worth is one of the most powerful acts of liberation for you and for the generations that follow.
Recognise that you’re saying NO to scarcity and YES to more money, wealth, power, currency and agency in the world.
That’s the bottom line.
Why is it important to improve your self-worth
Your self-worth sets the ceiling on your wealth. The higher your self-worth, the greater your prosperity and success.
Improving self worth leads to more wealth and business success. Here’s how:
1.Self-worth fuels decision-making power.
When you believe in your worth, you’re more likely to:
Say no to draining clients or low-paying gigs.
Invest in yourself (mentors, tools, support) without guilt.
Set boundaries that protect your time, energy, and creativity.
2. Your business reflects your inner beliefs.
A business is an outer manifestation of your inner world. If you don’t truly value yourself, your business model, pricing, marketing, and growth choices will reflect that undervaluation.
3. You charge what you’re worth (and more).
When you feel worthy, you stop apologising for your prices or discounting out of fear. You set fees that reflect the transformation you deliver—and clients feel that confidence.
4.You magnetise better opportunities.
Self-worth radiates in your presence, your messaging, and your brand. It attracts aligned clients, collaborators, and investors who respect your value.
Launch new offers.
Pitch bigger clients.
Ask for funding.
Step onto bigger stages.
Claim visibility.
6.You stop sabotaging your success.
Low self-worth often leads to procrastination, perfectionism, and settling for less.
When your self-worth rises, you stop standing in your own way.
When your self-worth rises, so does your wealth.
Your business stops being an exhausting hustle for scraps and becomes a vehicle for prosperity, impact, and freedom.
Yes, it’s a business strategy that pays off…but it’s also a practice that takes patience and cultivation.
Numerology reveals how you can work on your self worth year on year to establish deep-rooted success……
What Is a Personal Year Number in Numerology?
Your Personal Year Number represents the spiritual theme and energetic focus of the current birthday year for you. It’s part of a repeating nine-year cycle that guides your soul’s growth, healing, and evolution.
Every year brings a new opportunity, whether it’s to begin, build, break free, or complete. When you understand your Personal Year, you can consciously work with its energy rather than against it.
When you align with the rhythm of your Personal Year Number, you have a sacred map which guides you to stop surviving and start leading from soul. Pricing, boundaries and prosperity become natural expressions of your Soul Leadership.
Let this be a soul-aligned cycle of becoming and not a business hustle that feels like you’re going around and around in circles, at risk of burnout.
How to calculate your Personal Year Number:
1.Add the day and month of your birth together.
2.Add the digits of the year of your last birthday.
3. Add those sums together and reduce to a single digit (unless it’s a Master Number like 11 or 22).
Example:Born on May 10 → 5 + 1 + 0 = 6
Last birthday year (2025): 2 + 0 + 2 + 5 = 96 + 9 = 15→ 1 + 5= 6 Personal Year
